The Hanoitimes - The capital city of Hanoi is implementing a series of activities to
promote the campaigns in HIV/AIDS prevention and control.
According to the city’s Department of Health,
there will be a ceremony on December 1
to mark the national action month for HIV/AIDS prevention and control 2012,
which is launched by the Ministry of Health with the theme “Towards No New HIV
Infections.”
During the action month, the city will
organize conferences and seminars at all levels to discuss measures to help
people with high risk and share experience and effective models of HIV/AIDS
control.
Besides, there will also be cultural performance
to attract the public participation in HIV/AIDS prevention and control in
residential areas, media programs and the charity “Humane Embrace” event to
raise fund for HIV-carriers.
